The double switch should be wired so that one switch controls the lamp and the other switch controls the shared outlet. This can be achieved by connecting the hot wire to the common terminal of the double switch and then connecting the wire leading to the lamp to one of the switch terminals, and the wire leading to the shared outlet to the other switch terminal. This setup allows for independent control of the lamp and the shared outlet using the two switches. **

It is not recommended to hang a lightweight ceiling lamp using double-sided Velcro or double-sided adhesive tape. These methods may not provide enough support and stability for the lamp, posing a safety hazard. It is best to use the appropriate hardware and mounting materials recommended by the manufacturer to ensure the lamp is securely and safely installed on the ceiling. If you are unsure about the proper installation method, it is best to consult a professional electrician or contractor for assistance. **
